Ingeniero Felipe Suberví pone énfasis en solucionar problemas de abastecimiento de agua potable en la población de Santo Domingo Este
Santo Domingo. -La Corporación de Acueducto y Alcantarillado de Santo Domingo (CAASD) solucionó una avería en la línea de distribución del agua potable del Acueducto Barrera de Salinidad que abastece a cientos de familias de la Ciudad Juan Bosch y sectores aledaños, del municipio Santo Domingo Este.
La información fue dada a conocer a través de una nota de prensa por la institución, en la que se detalló que la fuga se originó en la línea tipo GRP de 30 pulgadas, la cual fue corregida inmediatamente por una brigada de mantenimiento de la Gerencia de Operaciones Este de la CAASD.
En ese sentido, la entidad estatal detalló que el equipo de trabajo procedió al cambio y la instalación de un niple de 6 pies, así como dos juntas de acero en la parte afectada.
Al finalizar las labores de corrección, el servicio quedó restablecido en la Ciudad Juan Bosch, y los sectores de San Isidro, El Bonito, zona Franca; Los Mameyes; Isabelita; Los Frailes I y II, entre otros.
De su lado, el director de la CAASD, ingeniero Felipe Suberví, reiteró su compromiso en solucionar los problemas de suministro de agua potable y alcantarillado sanitario que afecta a muchos barrios del municipio Santo Domingo Este.
En varias oportunidades, el funcionario ha visitado la zona para supervisar y conversar con pobladores de esa demarcación quienes han valorado los trabajos que la actual gestión realiza para dotar de agua potable a todos los residentes.
En ese sentido, la CAASD realiza trabajos en Santo Domingo Este en la avenida Ecológica, que tienen como objetivo facilitar el abastecimiento del preciado líquido para beneficiar a una población de más de 200,000 de los sectores Prado Oriental, residencial Marpe, Brisa Oriental, Villa Eloísa, Lotificación del Este, entre otros.
