La CAASD se viste de azul con motivo del Mes de la Lucha Contra la Lepra

La institución se suma a la campaña “Tu piel, mi piel”.

Santo Domingo. Como parte del apoyo a la campaña “Tu piel, mi piel”, la Corporación del Acueducto y Alcantarillado de Santo Domingo (CAASD), iluminó de azul su sede central.

Con esta iniciativa, se busca crear conciencia y promover que cada vez más la población conozca la importancia de cuidar el órgano más grande del cuerpo, que es la piel.

La campaña es desarrollada por el Patronato de la Lucha Contra la Lepra, Inc, y su órgano ejecutor, el Instituto Dermatológico Dominicano y Cirugía de la Piel “Dr. Huberto Bogaert Díaz” (IDCP) a través del Programa Nacional de Lepra.

El objetivo de esta misión es redoblar la educación, el control, reducción y diseñar nuevas estrategias que permitan alcanzar el objetivo internacional de erradicar la enfermedad de Hansen o lepra.

La CAASD apoya de manera entusiasta esta iniciativa e invita a la población a tomar conciencia con la enfermedad, que es una afección crónica bastante silenciosa y que no es fácil de detectar ni diagnosticar.

A propósito de la campaña, el director general de la CAASD, ingeniero Felipe Suberví, recomendó a la población el diagnóstico temprano y el procedimiento oportuno para mantener la enfermedad bajo control.

El funcionario reiteró su compromiso con la salud de los dominicanos y los invitó a que accedan a controles médicos y tratamientos efectivos contra ese mal.

“Como parte de la campaña “Tu piel, mi piel” se ofrecen operativos médicos, jornada científica, capacitaciones, testimonios y lo más importante: orientaciones a toda la población para conservar los logros alcanzados hasta el momento”; expresó El director general del IDCP, doctor Víctor Pou Soares,

Del mismo modo, la organización sin fines de lucro invitó a las instituciones públicas y privadas a iluminar con el color institucional sus edificaciones. También todo aquel que se quiera unir a este propósito lo puede hacer a través de las redes sociales colgando una foto con alguna prenda azul en sus cuentas y «etiquetando» el instituto Dermatológico en el IG. como: @institutodermatologico.
