Felipe Suberví da la bienvenida a los alumnos que inician el ciclo de clases presenciales
Santo Domingo. – El director general de la Corporación del Acueducto y Alcantarillado de Santo Domingo (CAASD), ingeniero Felipe Suberví, encabezó este lunes el acto de inicio del Año Escolar 2021-2022, del Liceo Técnico Ingeniero Osvaldo B. Báez, ubicado en la Planta de Tratamiento Haina-Manoguayabo.
El funcionario explicó, que la misión de la institución es la formación de bachilleres técnicos en operación y mantenimiento de sistemas de agua potable y saneamiento, con la finalidad de graduar ciudadanos competentes y productivos como lo ha dispuesto el presidente Luis Abinader.
Asimismo, el ingeniero Subervi, exhortó a los estudiantes a no perder el horizonte y continuar en busca del pan de la enseñanza, para lograr sus metas y enfrentar los desafíos que puedan venir en el futuro.
“Hoy inicia una oportunidad para adquirir nuevos conocimientos, aquí empieza una etapa de formación que les abrirá las puertas del éxito en el futuro”, manifestó el titular de la CAASD.
Explicó a los estudiantes que deben enfocarse para poder lograr sus sueños.
“El futuro es ahora, aprovechen la oportunidad de ser los mejores técnicos en todo lo que conlleva el manejo y tratamiento del recurso agua”, puntualizó.
De su lado, la directora del centro educativo, Jennifer Zapata, explicó que en este período ingresarán al plantel una matrícula de 105 estudiantes, distribuidos en los cursos cuarto, quinto y sexto de secundaria.
Puntualizó que, al finalizar el bachillerato, los alumnos optarán por el título de la carrera técnica de control de procesos ambientales, incluyendo potabilización del agua, saneamiento, manejo de residuos y contaminación atmosférica.
Resaltó que durante el nuevo período escolar el Liceo se compromete a dar seguridad a todos los integrantes de la comunidad educativa, de manera particular a los que estarán de forma presencial.
Zapata subrayó que prepararon un protocolo de acción, con el objetivo de preservar la salud y tener un ambiente adecuado para realizar el proceso de la enseñanza y aprendizaje, evitando de esta manera posibles contagios de coronavirus.
Durante la actividad el director de la CAASD entregó útiles escolares a los estudiantes del Liceo Técnico.
En el acto donde estuvieron presentes funcionarios y colaboradores de la institución, fueron implementados los protocolos establecidos por el Ministerio de Salud Pública para evitar posibles contagios de COVID-19.
