Santo Domingo.- Unos 60 alumnos del Centro Educativo Primaria General Gregorio Luperón, en Santo Domingo Este, fueron beneficiados con la campaña institucional “Ahorro y uso eficiente del agua”, que realiza la Corporación del Acueducto y Alcantarillado de Santo Domingo (CAASD).
Los estudiantes de quinto y sexto grados de educación primaria fueron orientados sobre cómo administrar y proteger el valioso recurso.
Durante la actividad, los alumnos recibieron capacitación por parte de representantes de la CAASD, quienes les explicaron sobre el proceso de potabilización del preciado líquido, cómo ahorrarlo y evitar su contaminación, entre otros temas.
«En esta conferencia tenemos que aprender y concienciarnos a usar el agua de manera adecuada para que nos pueda durar. Nuestro objetivo es convertirlos en multiplicadores del mensaje», les expuso la charlista Sofy de León.
«Aprendí que debemos cuidar el agua, economizarla y no ensuciarla. Compartiré el mensaje con mi familia y las personas que desperdician el agua», expresó la estudiante Yaneiris Mirabal.
Charmelys de los Santos, Chrismeilis Castillo, Jendry Reyes, Lismarly Vázquez, Brailin Rodríguez y Aleida Soriano fueron los estudiantes juramentados como vigilantes del agua.
Al concluir la actividad educativa, todos los alumnos recibieron estuches de lápices, cuadernos, termos de agua y un instructivo de vigilantes por parte del departamento Soporte a la Gestión Comercial de la CAASD.
