Santo Domingo.- Decenas de empleados de la Corporación del Acueducto y Alcantarillado de Santo Domingo (CAASD) recibieron el taller “Manejo de desechos sólidos”, impartido por el Instituto Nacional de Formación Técnico Profesional (INFOTEP), con la intensión de instruir al personal para efectuar el reciclaje en la institución.
“El objetivo de este taller es orientar a los participantes sobre cómo manejar los residuos sólidos y que estos conocimientos puedan ser implementados en la institución y en sus hogares”, dijo la facilitadora de INFOTEP María Ivelise Ramírez Díaz.
Manifestó que un residuo puede ser un recurso o un desecho e indicó que la importancia de hacerlo depende de la forma en que se utilice.
De igual modo, exhortó a los empleados de la Corporación a usar los residuos sólidos como un recurso, pues así aportarán de forma positiva a la salud, economía y medio ambiente.
La colaboradora del departamento de mayordomía, Isabel Henríquez, expresó: “Me pareció muy bien, ya que nos enseñan a reciclar la basura y añadir cada elemento en el contenedor correspondiente”.
Unos 25 colaboradores de diferentes departamentos de la CAASD participaron en la conferencia que fue coordinada por su dirección de Recursos Humanos.
