Santo Domingo.- La Corporación del Acueducto y Alcantarillado de Santo Domingo (CAASD) ofreció a sus empleados el taller “Técnicas de las 5S”, impartido por el Instituto Nacional de Formación Técnica Profesional (INFOTEP), a fin de promover, aplicar y mantener el orden y limpieza en sus puestos de trabajo.
El facilitador del INFOTEP, Michael Ferreira, explicó que las 5S son una herramienta de calidad que busca crear un ambiente laboral más eficiente, logrando satisfacer a los ciudadanos clientes en diversas instituciones y empresas.
“Se considera que a través del orden y la limpieza podemos crear ese nivel de calidad que todo cliente va a buscar en cada institución”, declaró Ferreira.
El charlista manifestó que las 5S fueron desarrolladas en Japón y que se especifican en español como: Seiri (clasificar), Seiton (orden), Seiso (limpieza), Selketsu (limpieza estandarizada) y Shitsuke (disciplina).
De igual forma, dio a conocer los temas: concepto de 5S, sus características, objetivos, ciclo Deming y nombres de éstas, entre otros.
“La importancia de las 5S es implementar en nuestro entorno laboral el orden, limpieza, disciplina, organización y mejorar día a día en el servicio”, dijo la empleada Rudilenny Rosario.
Unos 30 empleados de diversos departamentos de la Corporación participaron en el taller que fue coordinado por la Dirección de Recursos Humanos de la CAASD junto al departamento de Capacitación.
