Santo Domingo. – La Corporación del Acueducto y Alcantarillado de Santo Domingo (CAASD), entregó a la Base Naval 27 de Febrero de la Armada de la República Dominicana, una moderna planta purificadora de agua en beneficio de los, aproximadamente, 12 mil miembros y sus familiares.
Para el desarrollo y entrega oportuna de la planta, el director general de la CAASD, ingeniero Felipe Suberví, delegó a la directora de la Unidad Ejecutora, Marcell Ríos, quien a su vez estuvo representada por una comisión, durante la actividad.
La procesadora cuenta con un sistema de tratamiento ósmosis inversa, con capacidad para purificar 20 mil galones diarios, además, posee una estación de bombeo con electrobomba, tanque precargado de 120 galones y sistema de automatización y controles eléctricos.
Los datos técnicos fueron ofrecidos por el director del Laboratorio de Calidad de las Aguas de la CAASD, José Mateo, quien destacó, además, que dentro de los sistemas que caracterizan la planta de tratamiento, se encuentran el de desinfección y control microbiológico, de aireación, purificación y remoción de cloruros.
También, un sistema de ablandador de agua dúplex, otro sistema de ultra purificación y almacenamiento de aguas tratadas, almacenamiento y bombeo con post filtración y generador de ozono.
Sistema de lavado y esterilizado
La edificación tiene además estructuras en acero inoxidable, funcionamiento semiautomático, lavado de dos botellones de manera simultánea, desinfección con detergente y agua caliente.
Asimismo, dos llenadoras, una con capacidad para llenar cuatro botellones, y otra para seis botellas más pequeñas al mismo tiempo, y un laboratorio para control de calidad.
De su lado, el inspector general de la Armada, contraalmirante Segundo Ventura, agradeció la obra en nombre de todos los alistados de la Armada de la República, luego de haber recibido de manera formal los certificados pertinentes de parte del gerente de supervisión y fiscalización de la CAASD, Renzo Sing Lendo.
Junto a Renzo, y en representación de la Corporación, estuvieron presentes Luis Báez, Wdelfonso Ogando, Francia Montaño y José Mateo.
Mientras que, al contraalmirante Segundo, le acompañaron el capitán de navío Milton Montás Peláez, quien es el comandante de la Base Naval 27 de Febrero, así como también, una comitiva de oficiales superiores y subalternos.
