También serán iniciados los trabajos de nuevas obras
Santo Domingo.- La Corporación del Acueducto y Alcantarillado de Santo Domingo (CAASD) prosigue con los avances en los trabajos de importantes infraestructuras que beneficiarán a la población del Gran Santo Domingo.
El director general de la CAASD, arquitecto Alejandro Montás, informó que alcanzó un 90% de ejecución la fase de construcción del cárcamo de bombeo y tramo de la red de alcantarillado sanitario para el área del Comedor Universitario de la Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo (UASD), Sede Central, en el Distrito Nacional.
Montás afirmó que en este proyecto se concluyó la construcción de los registros para el drenaje sanitario, las medias tapas fijas de las trampas de grasa y la rehabilitación de las áreas intervenidas.
Asimismo, el funcionario indicó que los trabajos de colocación de línea de servicio en tubería, en el sector San Bartolo y urbanización Marbella del kilómetro 12 de la autopista Las Américas, municipio Santo Domingo Este, lleva un avance de un 85% de realización.
Esta infraestructura cuenta con 485 metros lineales de tuberías de diferentes diámetros instaladas, 75 acometidas domiciliarias, entre otras mejoras.
La Corporación también adelantó la colocación de línea de servicio en tubería de la calle Central, del barrio La Campana, en el sector Villa Faro del citado municipio.
“En esta construcción hemos colocado más de 1,000 metros lineales de tuberías de diferentes diámetros, dos válvulas, entre otras instalaciones, por lo que esta obra la hemos llevado a un 72% de ejecución”, refirió Montás.
Otras infraestructuras de las que la CAASD reportó avances son: la colocación de línea de servicio en tubería, desde Escuela Villa Mella hasta la Escuela El Chaparral, que reforzará varios sectores del municipio Santo Domingo Norte (40% de ejecución); desvío y colocación de línea de servicio en tubería para las oficinas del Instituto de Estabilización de Precios (INESPRE), en la avenida Isabel Aguiar, en el sector de Herrera, municipio Santo Domingo Oeste (6% de ejecución).
Además, la Corporación anunció el inicio de los trabajos de construcción de dos filtrantes y una planta de tratamiento de aguas residuales para el proyecto habitacional Villa Progreso, en La Barquita, Santo Domingo Norte, y la colocación de una línea de servicio en tubería para los sectores Paraíso y ensanche Altagracia de Herrera, en Santo Domingo Oeste
