La CAASD paga prestaciones a excolaboradores

Ante una comitiva que lo visitó para reclamar sus pagos, el director general Felipe Suberví aseguró que continuará cumpliendo con el compromiso de pago por un monto de 30 millones de pesos.

Santo Domingo-. El director de la Corporación del Acueducto y Alcantarillado de Santo Domingo (CAASD), ingeniero Felipe Suberví, recibió una comisión de exempleados de la institución y se comprometió a agilizar la entrega de sus prestaciones laborales, tal como establece la ley en la materia.

Explicó además que, la CAASD se acoge a la ley 41-08 del Ministerio de Administración Pública (MAP), que establece que las instituciones tienen un plazo de 90 días para efectuar los pagos. “Y en estos momentos, nos hemos atrasado por la cantidad de casos que tiene el MAP, el cual por la pandemia del Covid, trabaja con menos personal de lo normal. Estamos en la disposición de cumplir con este compromiso, pero debemos agotar los procesos”, sostiene Suberví.

Otro detalle que destacó el funcionario es que están pagando prestaciones a excolaboradores que fueron desvinculados en el mes de marzo del año 2020 cuando la institución era dirigida por las antiguas autoridades.

Suberví se reunió con la comitiva en el Salón Frida Aybar de Sanabia, de la entidad, donde les aseguro que la institución estatal continuará este mes de febrero los pagos correspondientes a los meses de agosto, septiembre y octubre. El monto total que será entregado asciende a 30 millones de pesos.

“Yo no voy a cometer una injusticia, me considero ser una persona justa, y yo creo que, si una persona brindó un servicio, no importa del partido que sea, hay que darle sus prestaciones laborales”, puntualizó el director de la Caasd, hablando en forma enfática y cordial con los visitantes, quienes recibieron con agrado sus explicaciones.

Durante la reunión, el funcionario dejó bien claro que llegó a la corporación oficial a realizar una gestión totalmente diferente, lo cual será evidenciado en los próximos meses.

La comisión que recibió el funcionario estuvo conformada por Ignacio Collado, José Geraldo Leia, Fausto Ángeles, Juan Polanco Paredes, Betilio Arias Veloz, Magdalena Rosario, José Manuel Pérez; quienes estuvieron acompañados por el diputado del Partido de la Liberación Dominicana, Sócrates Pérez.
