Santo Domingo. – El director general de la Corporación del Acueducto y Alcantarillado de Santo Domingo (CAASD), ingeniero Felipe Suberví, anuncia solución al problema de abastecimiento de agua potable en los sectores que comprenden toda la Marginal de Las Américas.
Para tales fines, el funcionario ha propuesto conectar a través de tuberías del sistema de agua potable de Ciudad Juan Bosch para dar una respuesta contundente a la problemática.
Suberví se reunió con dirigentes comunitarios del municipio Santo Domingo Este, para escuchar sus inquietudes, a quienes explicó que el agua producida en el citado complejo habitacional es tan abundante que se puede proporcionar el preciado líquido a los sectores de toda la Marginal de la avenida Las Américas.
El depósito de agua potable del proyecto residencial Ciudad Juan Bosch tiene la capacidad de almacenar 6,000 metros cúbicos del líquido, equivalentes a un millón 585 mil 32 galones de agua potable, enfatizó el servidor público.
De igual modo, resaltó que la interconexión se hará tan pronto se reciba la autorización del organismo correspondiente, pues todos los proyectos pasan por licitación, a través de la Ley de Compras y Contrataciones, y esto dura aproximadamente 45 días para ser revisado.
En tal sentido, el director pidió a los comunitarios: «Tengan fe, confianza y paciencia con esta gestión, la cual ha asumido el compromiso de resolver las pequeñas cosas para ejecutar grandes soluciones».
Participación
En la actividad participaron los diputados Carlos de Jesús y Miguel Ortega, el subdirector de Operaciones de la CAASD, ingeniero Luis Salcedo; el gerente de Operaciones Este, Robinson Pérez; el subgerente de Operaciones Este, José Antonio Méndez, entre otras personalidades.
También estuvieron presentes representantes de las juntas de vecinos de los sectores: San Luis, Mendoza, Villa Faro, María de Hostos, Los Mina, Tamarindo, San Isidro, El Almirante; en total, 18 bloques que conforman la Federación de Juntas de Vecinos del Este, encabezada por su presidente, Miguel Almonte.
