Presidente Abinader y Fellito Suberví inauguran moderno centro de monitoreo para eficientizar servicios de la CAASD

El ingeniero Fellito Suberví explicó que está innovación garantizará el control de los sistemas de abastecimiento de la institución en tiempo real.

Santo Domingo. – Como parte de su compromiso con la modernización, la eficiencia y la mejora de los servicios públicos, el presidente de la República, Luis Abinader, junto al director general de la Corporación del Acueducto y Alcantarillado de Santo Domingo (CAASD), Felipe -Fellito- Suberví, inauguró un innovador centro de monitoreo de los sistemas de producción y abastecimiento de agua potable de la institución.

El titular de la Corporación destacó que el centro que controlará de manera automática el funcionamiento de sus equipos representa un hito en la digitalización y la eficiencia operativa de la CAASD. Señaló que se enfoca en la inmediatez, la flexibilidad y la facilidad para asegurar una coordinación y gestión efectiva de los recursos.

Dijo que la finalidad es dar respuesta oportuna y eficaz a los usuarios del servicio en el Distrito Nacional y la provincia Santo Domingo.

“Desde este nuevo centro, la CAASD tiene la capacidad de monitorear de forma remota y en tiempo real las estaciones de bombeo y campos de pozo en el Gran Santo Domingo.

Esto incluye la supervisión del consumo y la calidad de energía de cada motor, la producción de agua de cada pozo, el control de encendido y apagado de bombas, y la vigilancia mediante cámaras de seguridad, así como el control de acceso a las estaciones”, detalló el funcionario.

Suberví indicó que el nuevo espacio ayudará a controlar el consumo de energía de motores y bombas para reducir costos y aumentar la sostenibilidad.

“Este tendrá la capacidad de inspeccionar y monitorear la red de agua y alcantarillado en tiempo real, permitiendo una respuesta rápida a las necesidades cambiantes. Además, utilizará herramientas analíticas avanzadas, que incrementarán el rendimiento de la red, asegurando un suministro de agua eficiente y confiable”, explicó Suberví.

El director de la CAASD también resaltó, que serán detectadas con mayor rapidez las pérdidas de agua, contribuyendo a la conservación de este recurso valioso, solucionando de manera eficiente y optimizando las tareas de mantenimiento.

Señaló que, con la implementación de medidores de agua inteligentes, se facilita el seguimiento en tiempo real del consumo de agua de casi diez mil clientes, junto con la capacidad de corte y reconexión remota del servicio para mejorar aún más la eficiencia y la atención a los usuarios. También, la automatización del call center para la mejora y eficiencia del servicio brindado.

“Seguimos ofreciéndole lo mejor a los residentes del Gran Santo Domingo, con la incorporación de una tecnología avanzada que permite una atención más rápida, la implementación de un sistema de respuesta automático para gestionar consultas y solicitudes, así como la formación constante de nuestro personal”, dijo.

El Centro de Monitoreo de la CAASD cuenta con tecnología de vanguardia, incluyendo una pantalla de video wall de 7.5×2 metros, un data center exclusivo con redundancia en servicios esenciales y estaciones de trabajo ergonómicas.

Este avance representa un compromiso continuo de la CAASD con la calidad del servicio y la gestión eficiente de los recursos hídricos en la República Dominicana, contribuyendo al bienestar de la comunidad.
