Santo Domingo. – El director de la Corporación del Acueducto y Alcantarillado de Santo Domingo (CAASD), Felipe -Fellito- Suberví, explicó que el proyecto modernización debe ser asumido y respaldado por todos los sectores como un compromiso necesario para seguir construyendo un país de más oportunidades y mejores servicios públicos para todos.
Al participar como orador invitado en el Jaycees’ 72 Talks de la Cámara Junior Internacional (JCI), Fellito explicó que «todos los sectores han coincidido los retos que tenemos como país y las cosas que tenemos que mejorar, por eso es necesario que todos asumamos el compromiso del esfuerzo que debemos hacer para sobrepasarlos».
El presidente Abinader ha sido valiente y determinado como ningún otro mandatario para impulsar esta reforma, porque sabe que la misma contribuirá a profundizar el cambio reforzando la seguridad ciudadana, mejorando el transporte masivo, ampliando y eficientizando los servicios de salud y esta podrá, además, fortalecer el alcance de los gobiernos locales, cerrar el déficit en el sector eléctrico, incrementar los salarios y ampliar los programas de protección social», dijo el también presidente del Partido Revolucionario Moderno (PRM) en el Distrito Nacional.
Motivación para los jóvenes
Durante el encuentro Suberví resaltó la importancia de la participación de los jóvenes en las transformaciones sociales como catalizadores de nuevas ideas y dinamismo en los procesos para construir futuro.
Describió el papel que juegan los jóvenes en el sistema democrático, además resaltó el papel determinante de las nuevas generaciones en la construcción de un futuro con mayores oportunidades y sostenibilidad integral: «El compromiso y la visión de nuestra juventud son esenciales para dar continuidad a las transformaciones sociales”, indicó.
Sostuvo que cuando los jóvenes se involucran activamente ayudan a construir comunidades más inclusivas, equitativas y preparadas para enfrentar los desafíos globales.
Suberví resaltó que sin la voz de los jóvenes las sociedades no pueden tener evolución social, tomando en cuenta que la visión de los jóvenes incentiva los cambios sociales, políticos y culturales.
