Santo Domingo, RD.– Con el objetivo de seguir garantizando un suministro cada vez más eficiente y continuo de agua potable, la Corporación del Acueducto y Alcantarillado de Santo Domingo (CAASD) ejecutó alrededor de 554 intervenciones durante el mes de junio, orientadas a la corrección de averías, reparación de válvulas y desobstrucción de líneas sanitarias en distintas zonas del Gran Santo Domingo.
La Dirección de Operaciones de la institución informó que, entre el 28 de mayo y el 3 de junio, fueron resueltas 124 averías, concentrándose el 48 % de estas en las zonas norte y suroeste, el 34 % en el este y el 18 % restante en el noroeste.
Destacó que, durante ese período, se llevaron a cabo trabajos en sectores como Los Mina, Parque del Este, Hato Viejo, Ensanche La Julia, Invicea y Mirador del Oeste, donde se corrigieron averías en líneas de agua potable de distintos diámetros, incluyendo intervenciones en redes ubicadas en calles principales, residenciales y avenidas estratégicas.
En tanto que, del 4 al 10 de junio, la CAASD solucionó otras 147 averías. En esta ocasión, la zona norte concentró el 42 % de los casos, el este el 22 %, el suroeste el 21 % y el noroeste el 15 %.
Durante este intervalo se desarrollaron trabajos en sectores como El Naranjo, Hato Viejo, Mandinga, Agua Loca, Simonico y Pueblo Nuevo, donde se intervinieron tanto redes de agua como de saneamiento, contribuyendo a mejorar las condiciones de salubridad y la calidad de vida de los residentes.
Asimismo, durante la semana del 11 al 17 de junio, la CAASD realizó 165 intervenciones, de las cuales el 41 % correspondió al este, el 30 % al suroeste, el 20 % al norte y el 9 % al noroeste. Estos trabajos comprendieron la reparación de líneas de 12, 6, 4 y 3 pulgadas en zonas como Los Planetas de Los Tres Ojos, Cansino, Reparto Alma Rosa, Invivienda y Villa Liberación.
Estas labores incluyeron tanto la corrección de fugas como la limpieza de redes sanitarias, garantizando una mayor continuidad en el suministro de agua y una correcta evacuación de las aguas residuales.
De igual forma, la jornada correspondiente al período del 18 al 25 de junio cerró con la atención de 118 averías, de las cuales el 60 % de las incidencias se concentraron en las zonas norte y suroeste, el 22 % en el este y el 18 % en el noroeste.
Entre las intervenciones destacadas figuran los trabajos realizados en el Residencial Colinas del Oeste, Mirador Sur, Los Restauradores, la Zona Universitaria, Mata Hambre, Villa Mella, el Ensanche Luperón y el Residencial Los Hidalgos, en el kilómetro 14 de la autopista Duarte.
Estas acciones forman parte del compromiso permanente de la CAASD con brindar un servicio más eficiente y oportuno a los habitantes del Gran Santo Domingo, mediante una respuesta rápida a las incidencias reportadas en la red de distribución de agua potable y las infraestructuras sanitarias.
