Santo Domingo. – La Corporación del Acueducto y Alcantarillado de Santo Domingo (CAASD) trabaja en la solución de una avería provocada por una compañía privada a una tubería de la línea de distribución de agua potable, en las inmediaciones del sector Villa Consuelo, del Distrito Nacional.

A través de un comunicado, la entidad estatal informó que sus brigadas están interviniendo la perforación a una tubería que provocó el derramamiento del preciado líquido entre las calles Manuel Ubaldo Gómez y Eusebio Manzueta de la referida localidad.

La CAASD detalló, que debido a las labores que ejecuta el personal de la dirección de Operaciones en el lugar, se encuentra limitado el servicio para María Auxiliadora, Villa Consuelo, Cristo Rey, 24 de abril Luperón, Guachupita, Gualey, ensanche La Fe, La Zurza entre otros.

Puntualizó que realizan estas acciones con el objetivo de controlar fugas de agua mientras corrigen la avería.

En ese sentido, la Corporación explicó que agilizan en las labores para garantizar el preciado líquido a las comunidades del entorno.

Asimismo, precisó que investigan las causas que provocaron la avería. De igual modo señaló que indagan el otorgamiento de un permiso a la empresa Perforaciones Sánchez para hacer un hoyo y colocar un filtrante, el cual, de acuerdo con informes recabados, fue lo que provocó el rompimiento de la tubería.

Agregó, que inmediatamente recibió el reporte de parte de los residentes envió sus unidades técnicas y brigadistas. Pidió excusas por los inconvenientes causados.
