Felipe Suberví reafirmó su compromiso de seguir trabajando en beneficio de los habitantes del Gran Santo Domingo
Santo Domingo. – La Corporación del Acueducto y Alcantarillado de Santo Domingo (CAASD) conmemoró sus 51 años de fundación con una solemne eucaristía de acción de gracias, celebrada en la Catedral Primada de América.
El titular de la entidad, ingeniero Felipe Suberví, aprovechó la ocasión para reafirmar el compromiso con la excelencia en el servicio, la eficiencia en la gestión y la mejora continua en beneficio de la calidad de vida de la población dominicana.
«Nuestro compromiso con la excelencia en la gestión del agua y el saneamiento se renueva hoy más que nunca, conscientes de la vital importancia de estos servicios para el desarrollo y el bienestar de nuestras comunidades», expresó.
Durante la ceremonia, el ingeniero Suberví- Fellito- destacó los logros más significativos alcanzados durante su gestión al frente de esta importante institución, entre los cuales citó el saneamiento pluvial y sanitario de las principales cañadas que afectaban al Gran Santo Domingo, las cuales fueron convertidas en parques de esparcimiento para los residentes de los entornos.
Asimismo, el director de la CAASD se refirió a las mejoras en el suministro de agua potable con la expansión de la red de distribución del preciado líquido, alcantarillado sanitario, proyectos de infraestructura en el tratamiento de aguas residuales, entre otras obras de gran magnitud en beneficio de miles de familias.
«Celebramos este aniversario con profunda gratitud hacia todos aquellos que han confiado en nuestra labor y nos han acompañado en este camino de servicio a la comunidad. En este día especial, reflexionamos sobre el camino recorrido y nos comprometemos a seguir avanzando con determinación hacia un futuro de mayor bienestar para todos los habitantes del Distrito Nacional y la provincia”, resaltó en funcionario durante el acto religioso.
Suberví agradeció al presidente de la República, Luis Abinader, por el apoyo brindado a lo largo de estos tres años y medio para lograr los objetivos y metas propuestas desde la institución, así como el equipo de trabajo que le acompaña.
“Quiero agradecer a Dios y a mi familia por mantenerme siempre motivado al trabajo, al presidente Abinader, por la oportunidad y la confianza, así como a mi equipo de la CAASD que han contribuido al éxito de esta gestión histórica y la misión de cumplir con un compromiso tan vital como es el suministro de agua potable”, sentenció el funcionario.
La eucaristía, además de ser un momento para reconocer los logros y agradecer los esfuerzos colectivos, también sirvió como espacio de reflexión sobre los retos y desafíos que aún enfrenta la CAASD en su compromiso de garantizar el acceso al agua potable de forma equitativa y sostenible.
La ceremonia oficiada por monseñor Francisco Ozoria Acosta, Arzobispo Metropolitano de Santo Domingo, contó con la presencia de destacadas personalidades del ámbito gubernamental, colaboradores de la CAASD e invitados especiales.
Sobre la CAASD
La Corporación del Acueducto y Alcantarillado de Santo Domingo (CAASD) fue creada mediante la Ley 498-73, cuya misión es brindar servicio de agua potable, recolección, tratamiento y disposición final de las aguas residuales del gran Santo Domingo.
