La Corporación del Acueducto y Alcantarillado de Santo Domingo (CAASD) inició este viernes un censo en la comunidad de Guajimia, a través de la empresa AECOM-EMPACA, con la finalidad de sanear de manera definitiva la cañada.
El censo se realizará durante todo el mes de junio y forma parte del proceso del estudio de impacto ambiental y social que realizan ambas entidades, en las comunidades del entorno de Guajimia.
De acuerdo con la institución, el levantamiento de las informaciones empezó este viernes 4 y culminará el miércoles 30 del mes en curso, siendo ésta la única fecha de elegibles para el Plan de reasentamiento (PAR).
El director de la CAASD, Felipe Suberví, reiteró el compromiso con los habitantes de los sectores afectados de recuperar el entorno de la cañada.
El proyecto está diseñado para realizarse en un período de tres años e involucrará a los miembros de las juntas de vecinos y la Alcaldía de Santo Domingo Oeste, el instrumento será aplicado en la zona de intervención de proyecto Guajimia fase II.
