De su lado, el director general de la CAASD detalló que de una licitación de 22 lotes que hizo la institución, 13 serán invertidos en esa jurisdicción de esta provincia, para beneficiar a más de 760,000 habitantes. Durante su intervención en el Consejo de Ministros, Suberví explicó: “Estos proyectos se van a realizar en este año 2021, Dios mediante”.
Sobre la ampliación del acueducto Barrera de Salinidad, el director de la CAASD reiteró que será la solución definitiva del problema del agua en varios municipios de esta provincia por los próximos 20 años, obra que tendrá una inversión de 90 millones de dólares.
“Más de un millón y medio de habitantes del Gran Santo Domingo serán beneficiados con esta obra”, precisó.
