Santo Domingo. – El director general de la Corporación del Acueducto y Alcantarillado de Santo Domingo (CAASD), ingeniero Felipe Suberví (Fellito), recibió una visita de cortesía del expresidente de la República Hipólito Mejía, con quien trató diversos temas de interés.
A su llegada, el exmandatario saludó a todas las personas que le recibieron, con la calidez humana que le caracteriza. Subió las escalinatas hasta llegar al despacho del director general de la CAASD, quien le recibió con un fuerte abrazo.
Mejía expresó su admiración por el aspecto que se muestra en el despacho, ya que tenía unos 20 años sin visitar esta entidad. Sin embargo, Suberví le aclaró que se trata de una serie de ajustes que se han ido implementando en favor, no solo de la apariencia, sino también de la parte administrativa.
El funcionario aprovechó la ocasión para compartir con el expresidente algunos de los avances que se han ido desarrollando en el área operacional y de administración.
También conversaron del importante acercamiento que ha tenido la institución con representantes de Israel, a través de su embajador en el país, el señor Daniel Biran Bayor con miras a elaborar soluciones con tecnologías de punta para la detección de fugas, averías, entre otras situaciones.
De su lado, el jefe de Estado compartió sus conocimientos relacionados con el tema de agua, al tiempo que reiteró su disposición de colaborar con la gestión de Suberví, en lo que le sea posible.
