Residentes de las localidades valoran los trabajos realizados
Santo Domingo. – La Corporación del Acueducto y Alcantarillado de Santo Domingo (CAASD), concluyó varias intervenciones y ejecutó los trabajos de asfalto en las calles de varios sectores del municipio Santo Domingo Norte.
En ese sentido, el director general de la CAASD, ingeniero Felipe Suberví, explicó que brigadas de la institución realizaron reparaciones en la red de distribución de agua potable, así como de alcantarillado sanitario en beneficio de una población de más de 10,000 habitantes.
Suberví puntualizó que posterior a estos trabajos fueron asfaltados 48 metros cúbicos para favorecer a los barrios Salome Ureña y Villa Progreso.
En ese mismo sentido resaltó que además fueron incluidos en el programa de asfaltos las calles Duverge de Sabana Perdida, avenida Hermanas Mirabal esquina Parque Mirador Norte carril sur-norte y la calle Paseo B 9 en Lotes y Servicios, lo que facilitará el tránsito a los residentes de estas zonas.
“Tenemos sumo interés en concluir estos trabajos que además de la reparación de tuberías y el restablecimiento del servicio de agua potable, también simplificará el acceso a las personas que transiten por los sectores aledaños”, señaló el funcionario.
El ingeniero puntualizó que el personal de la entidad estatal continuará en la ejecución de infraestructuras, con la finalidad de elevar los niveles de salubridad de la población del gran Santo Domingo.
“Nuestro compromiso es garantizar la salud y bienestar de la ciudadanía, la meta es mejorar la calidad de vida de cada dominicano”, enfatizó el director de la CAASD.
De su lado, los residentes de la zona valoraron las intervenciones realizadas por la CAASD, asegurando que los trabajos además de embellecer el entorno, también reducen la contaminación ambiental derivada por el polvo de la calle.
Indicaron que el asfaltado les garantiza que sus casas no se llenen de agua y las vías se mantengan en buen estado en tiempos de lluvias. “Estos trabajos nos evitan el lodazar y el polvo”, explicaron.
Asimismo, resaltaron la mejoría en el servicio de agua potable en el sector.
Hasta la fecha se han asfaltado 288 puntos en el Gran Santo Domingo, específicamente en las últimas 10 semanas, se han pavimentado 104 puntos, con un total 2,748,83 metros cuadrados de asfalto colocado entre los que se destacaron: calle Padre Billini, Instituto Salome Ureña, sector Manoguayabo, calle Gabriel García, calle Benito Gonzalez, Zona Colonial, calle A Ciudad Juan Bosch, Ave. La Gaviota, calle Manuel Ubaldo Gómez, Las Cinco Esquinas, calle Juan Erazo esq. Nicolás de Ovando, entre otras.
