Santo Domingo, RD. – La Corporación del Acueducto y Alcantarillado de Santo Domingo (CAASD) informó que el acueducto Haina-Manoguayabo se encuentra fuera de servicio debido a una avería eléctrica.
Como consecuencia, el suministro de agua potable se verá afectado en varios sectores del Gran Santo Domingo.
En una nota de prensa la institución señala los sectores afectados, que incluyen: Avenida Independencia, Pradera Verde, El Sauce, El Trigal, Bella Vista, El Quisqueya, El Mariel, Ofelia, El Cacique, El Atala, El Portal, El Renacimiento, 30 de Mayo, entre otros.
En ese sentido la Dirección de operaciones, detalló que brigadas de la institución se encuentran trabajando intensamente para resolver la falla eléctrica a la mayor brevedad posible.
“Nuestro equipo ha estado trabajando desde la noche anterior para solucionar el problema eléctrico”, indicaron.
Asimismo, agregaron que se están tomando todas las medidas necesarias para restablecer el servicio de agua potable a los sectores afectados lo más pronto posible.
La CAASD ofreció disculpas a la población por los inconvenientes causados y agradeció la comprensión de la población.
“Estamos trabajando sin descanso para garantizar el mejor servicio a nuestros usuarios. Agradecemos su paciencia y comprensión durante esta situación”, concluyó.
