Colegio de Abogados apoyará a la CAASD en sometimiento a grancera que dañó línea Valdesia Corporación y gremio firman acuerdo de cooperación

Santo Domingo.- El Colegio de Abogados de la República Dominicana (CARD) anunció que dará apoyo a la Corporación del Acueducto y Alcantarillado de Santo Domingo (CAASD) en relación al sometimiento a la justicia por parte de la entidad estatal a la grancera Hormigones América, S.R.L, y sus socios por causar la gran avería en una línea de 67 pulgadas del acueducto Valdesia Santo Domingo que dejó sin el suministro de agua potable a 80 sectores de la capital.

La información la ofreció el presidente del Colegio, Miguel Surun Hernández, durante la firma de un convenio entre el gremio y la Corporación.

“El Colegio de Abogados de la República Dominicana asume la asesoría y defensa de esta institución, no solamente para este caso, sino para cualquier situación donde estén comprometidos los intereses de la sociedad dominicana y del Estado. Pueden ustedes siempre contar con el Colegio y toda esta maquinaria jurídica, en defensa de los intereses de la patria”, declaró Surun Hernández.

También dijo que la gestión del arquitecto Alejandro Montás al frente de la CAASD ha fijado como un hito el sometimiento a dicha empresa, la que afectó el patrimonio del Estado dominicano que está bajo la jurisdicción de la Corporación.

En cuanto al acuerdo entre ambas entidades, se informó que el mismo procura intercambiar capacidades, servir a la sociedad, orientar a las entidades públicas y viabilizar la mejora de los servicios que ofrecen, a través de formación académica.

“Este convenio establece dotar de información mediante charlas a los integrantes del CARD sobre el uso racional del agua potable, proporcionar servicios de camiones de agua en caso de emergencia, facilitar la recolección de las aguas residuales y capacitar al personal técnico del Colegio en manejo de agua potable y saneamiento”, detalló el director de la CAASD durante el encuentro realizado en el salón de su despacho.

“Asimismo, el Colegio asume el compromiso de proporcionar cursos y talleres al personal de la CAASD, participar activamente en la campaña de ahorro del agua, brindar facilidades a los empleados de la Corporación interesados en la preparación de cursos extracurriculares impartidos por el CARD y publicar en sus medios todo lo relativo a la cultura de ahorro del agua”, prosiguió Montás.

Entre tanto, el presidente del gremio agregó que: “Para el CARD es una honra y un honor venir de la mano con una institución que en los últimos años ha dado cátedra y materia de gestión transparente y eficiente. Tenemos que felicitar y saludar este acuerdo”.

El presidente del CARD también felicitó al director de la CAASD por su filosofía de entrega y vocación de servicio y su estricto cumplimiento a los objetivos del desarrollo de la nación.

Igualmente, los miembros del CARD presentes expresaron su compromiso con la nación y el Estado en temas de justicia, para defender los activos y el patrimonio de la nación, como en el reciente caso de Hormigones América o en cualquier otra situación en que estén comprometidos los intereses de la sociedad dominicana
