Director de la CAASD, Alejandro Montás, resalta servicios de infraestructura con que cuenta el proyecto
Santo Domingo. – El presidente Danilo Medina entregó este miércoles un rígido, resistente y moderno tanque para abastecer de agua potable al nuevo proyecto residencial Ciudad Juan Bosch.
La función de este depósito es regular las variaciones de la demanda, distribuyendo el caudal de manera uniforme en la red, en beneficio de todos los residentes y visitantes del referido complejo inmobiliario.
El director de la Corporación del Acueducto y Alcantarillado de Santo Domingo (CAASD), arquitecto Alejandro Montás, manifestó que la entrega de esta obra es de gran regocijo para el Gobierno encabezado por el presidente Medina y en especial, para todos los adquirientes de viviendas de la primera etapa de la Ciudad Juan Bosch, quienes ahora disfrutan de una vivienda digna, segura y dotada de todos los servicios básicos, como agua potable, alcantarillado sanitario, energía eléctrica, educación, red vial, transporte y salud.
“Pero no sólo servicios básicos fueron instalados. Esta importante obra también cuenta con estancias infantiles, centros de atención primaria, centro de atención de adultos mayores, recreación, comercios, bombero y sistema de vigilancia”, detalló Montás.
“El Gobierno dominicano, a través de la CAASD, ha logrado en este tanque la creatividad, la funcionabilidad y la optimización de los materiales, al usar de forma equilibrada la gran capacidad de carga del concreto en el pedestal de la base y la alta resistencia del acero en el tanque, como también la durabilidad del acero vitrificado”, refirió el arquitecto Montás.
El funcionario explicó que para lograr la rigidez y resistencia de su estructura, el tanque fue fundado sobre un anillo de cimentación con diámetro exterior de 24 metros e interior de ocho metros, que recibe un fuste conformado por un cilindro circular con altura de 17.40 metros en hormigón armado, terminando en el techo con una losa postensada con diámetro de 24 metros.
También informó que sobre esta losa se ancla un tanque de acero vitrificado que almacena 6,000 metros cúbicos, es decir 1 millón 585 mil 32 galones de agua potable.
“Para embellecer el entorno se ha logrado una estructura que va en consonancia con sus muros de concreto visto y un sistema de huecos que evocan a las obras de artes arquitectónicas de la antigua Roma”, detalló.
Asimismo, señaló que el espacio interior de esta obra será utilizado para oficinas comerciales y operativas de la CAASD y de la empresa distribuidora de electricidad EDE Este.
“Podemos decir con mucho orgullo que al día de hoy, la CAASD está dejando en operación una infraestructura totalmente concluida de agua potable y alcantarillado para brindarle servicio a las 15,000 viviendas que constituyen la primera etapa”, prosiguió el funcionario.
“Como resultado de nuestra integración a los trabajos en Ciudad Juan Bosch, hemos ejecutado los siguientes trabajos: colocación de 12.4 kilómetros de redes de distribución de agua potable en tuberías de pvc: colocación 10.9 kilómetros de red de alcantarillado, en tuberías de pvc; construcción del 100% de los registros y válvulas necesarios para una eficiente sectorización y construcción de seis cisternas de emergencia equipadas con sus respectivas bombas”, indicó.
El director de la CAASD también destacó que para conducir las aguas residuales generadas por los residentes del proyecto, colocaron un colector de 30 pulgadas que recoge las aguas residuales hacia la Planta Depuradora Prados de La Caña. También incluyeron la construcción de las acometidas de agua potable y de aguas residuales a 24 desarrollos habitacionales.
“En cada gota, en cada litro y en cada galón de agua potable que almacena este moderno tanque se honra el compromiso de este Gobierno que trabaja con la gente y para la gente”, señaló Montás finalmente
